ALTAR LINENS
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Participation in caring for the altar linens brings us closer to the Table of the Eucharist. Volunteers for this ministry are responsible for the care of the altar linens that are used at each Mass celebration.
QUALIFICATIONS
Reverence for the altar and the Eucharist
· Willingness to donate time washing/ironing/gathering and delivering linens
· Commitment to serve the church community

TIME COMMITMENT
· Serve on monthly or 2 week basis
· Duties require 3 to 4 hours per week
· No regular scheduled meetings

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Gather various linens in sacristy
· Shake linens into sacrarium
· At your home, treat any stains
· Launder linens and towels separately
· Iron and return linens to sacristy drawers
