November is a time when we particularly remember those who have died.  A tradition here at Newman has been our
Altar of the Dead.  It has been set up near our icon and candles, and parishioners have brought in their pictures of dearly departed loved ones to display and be prayed for during the month of November.  We didn’t want to lose touch with this tradition in this year of COVID.  So, with a 2020 twist, we are preparing a VIRTUAL Altar of the Dead. It will be a page on our website.  We ask you to email or text your picture or pictures of deceased loved ones to us and we will post them to the webpage. Please send us the person’s name and your connection to them. Send as many photos as you’d like.  You may send us a digital version you already have, or you might use your phone take a picture of the picture, and text that to us.
Email your photo(s) to:  secretary@uonewman.org  OR  Text your photo(s) to: 541-357-9098
