Application for

Martin de Porres Social Justice Coordinator

St. Thomas More Newman Center is hiring a social justice coordinator to lead the Martin de Porres project. This project is directly related to the Church’s mission to proclaim the Gospel message of Christ and the teachings of the Church.  The Social justice coordinator will assist their peers in facilitating and implementing local, state and national areas of opportunity for student evangelization by putting into action the Spiritual and Corporal acts of Mercy. The student hired for this position will work directly with the faith formation director and peer ministers and will be a member of the student leadership team. This is a paid position for approximately nine months at 12 hours per week starting September 2022.

Applicants must be enrolled at the University of Oregon, Lane Community College.  Applicants must have a strong desire to lead by example and willingness to serve others.

Deadline for application is:  May 15, 2022.
If hired an Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon background check and safe environment training is required.
