It is expected that parents participate in Sacramental Preparation classes with their children.
Classes for reconciliation take approximately 14 weeks with First Reconciliation taking place during Lent. Classes for Eucharist take place during Lent and the celebration of First Eucharist takes place during the Easter season. Parents who request preparation classes for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist must be registered at the Newman Center for 6 months prior to the start of classes.
