Bernie Conklin was development director at the University of Oregon’s Newman Center from 2014-2016. Though he died in June 2016, his legacy lives on in all the wonderful ways he has touched students and permanent community members during his years of ministry at Newman. The Bernie Conklin Scholarship Fund was established in honor of his works at Newman that he championed as development director for the church and center, a student coach, and a father figure to many students.
