The Greek word “METANOIA” means conversion or change of heart. Lent is an annual call to metanoia for every Christian. Sometimes we can think of conversion as a one-time religious experience (like St. Paul on the Road to Damascus). But the reality for most Christians is that our life of grace before God ebbs and flows and develops gradually over the course of our whole lives. The Christian life may involve many “conversions” of different qualities and types. This Mission will use the texts of the Lenten Lectionary to explore the concept of on-going con-version in the life of Christians and the work of the Church.
The Mission starts at all the Masses on the weekend of March 2-3 with Fr. Bart presiding and preaching.
There will be a Two Night Student Session: "Transformed, Not Conformed"
There will also be a Two Night General Parish Session: "Washed and Able to See"
