STUDENT RETREATS
Every fall and spring, our students pack their bags, borrow a sleeping bag, and jump in a car to head off for a retreat in the woods near the McKenzie River at St. Benedict Lodge in McKenzie Bridge. This is a time to break away from studies for a weekend and to connect with God and each other. This is one of those events that students talk about for years afterwards, in how it impacted their faith and gave meaning to their lives. Students come filled with unknown expectations, a bit of fear, some wonder, and a longing to connect with others on their journey of faith.
Students pay $75 to attend, but for some, that is still difficult. We never turn away a student who can't afford to attend.
Your donation to an upcoming Student Retreat will not only support the general costs of the retreat, but it also allows us to offer $25 subsidy credits to students in need to help reduce their out-of-pocket costs.
