College can be exciting, but it can also leave us feeling overwhelmed. We carry questions about our future, relationships, school, faith, friendships, and who we are becoming. Sometimes, following Jesus means learning to let go.
This year's Newman Student Retreat is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of college life and make space for God. Together, we'll explore what it means to surrender our lives to the Lord—not because we have everything figured out, but because we can trust that He cares for us.
Throughout the weekend, we'll have opportunities for talks, prayer, small groups, reflection, community, and fun.
Come as you are!

When do we leave and return?
We will leave at around 4:00 pm on Friday and will return early Sunday afternoon.

Will there be time to do homework?
Yes! We know many students use the weekend to do homework.
We provide ~4 hours of free time during each retreat, which can be used to do homework if needed.

How much does the retreat cost?
Cost is $75 per student, with lodging, transportation, and all meals included.

Do I need to provide my own transportation?
We will carpool there and back.
We ask Newman students with cars if they are available to drive others
so we can get everyone there!

What should I bring?
Don't forget to bring a pillow, a sleeping bag, warm clothes, a towel, toiletries, shower shoes, a journal, a water bottle, homework, and hiking shoes if you have them.
